So have legions of film fans, many of them graphic designers who have created their own alternative movie posters. Fan posters often hinge on a famous element or scene, making their designs great for unique décor or simple design appreciation. The impulse to out-do original movie poster designs is so strong there are even websites dedicated to alternative movie posters, most notably AlternativeMoviePosters.com and RePostered. The following showcases 30 of my favorite fan-designed alternative movie posters from those sites.
