The Politics of Printing

Posted: 31 Oct 2014 06:00 AM PDT

Has your mailbox been overflowing lately? Of course it has. Election season is print marketing season. I can’t open my mailbox without being bombarded by print marketing materials telling me to Vote Yes on This and Vote No on That, and Don’t Vote For Him, Vote for Me. Direct-mail marketing for your political campaign is a smart move. Advertisements on TV, radio and social media channels are easily ignored. But a printed piece in someone’s mailbox will at least get looked at, and maybe even saved for Election Day.

We print our fair share of print marketing materials for political campaigns at PsPrint, including bumper stickers, postcards, brochures, posters, flyers and more.  In the interest of fairness, I have opted not to showcase them on Hot Off the Press. I don’t want the Hot Off the Press to appear to be choosing political sides. If we were playing Dungeons & Dragons, Hot Off the Press would be a True Neutral character.

And on that nerdy note, let’s check out some of the cool customer artwork that my eye this week …
